The province wants to make bus transport more sustainable, which is why it has opted for electric transport on a number of lines. It was the turn of lines 1 and 2 first, line 1 has been electric for five years. The buses on these lines had many teething problems, but those diseases now appear to be chronic, with an annual loss of 30 percent. In 2022, the province does not provide an explanation for the high failure rate of electric buses on this line.
