After launching a range of folding electric bikes with three models in 2020, Ducati is expanding its offer with two other references which will be marketed next month: the SCR-X and SCR-E GT.
Both feature a Bafang 48V electric motor integrated into the rear hub with 60Nm of torque, hydraulic disc brakes and a Shimano Tourney seven-speed drivetrain. gears. There is a foldable frame in aluminum mounted on 20×4 inch wheels with tires wide typed fat bike.
The SCR-X adopts a low step-over open frame with a gate integrated rear luggage that can support 25 kg dump. Designed for urban use, it is equipped with a fork and a 499 Wh battery providing up to 80 km ofautonomy.
The SCR-E GT is intended to be a little more adventurous with the main differences being a rear suspension, tires with larger studs and a tall frame. It has a more powerful battery (614 Wh) but has the same maximum range of 80 km.
Ducati has not yet communicated the prices of these two folding electric bikes which will be marketed from mid-July.
