Ducati Electric Racer On The Tracks!

Ducati’s new electric race bike is waiting to hit the track soon. Like automobile companies, motorcycle companies aim to keep up with the new world order.

It’s sure to be an important part of the MotoE e-bike racing season in 2023. The motorcycle V21L prototype will be covered in carbon fiber and will have an 18 kWh battery and a 150 HP electric motor. As detailed in an announcement made last year, Ducati is planned to be the sole supplier of all 18 motorcycles used in FIM MotoE World Cup races between 2023 and 2026.

The total weight of the motorcycle will be 225 kg, and the V12L, which is a much heavier option compared to other racing motorcycles, will now compete with 110 kW (148 hp) and 140 Nm of power, with the electric motor kept cool with liquid cooling along with the battery pack.

The V21L is said to reach speeds of up to 171 MPH at the Mugello MotoGP Track in Tuscany, which will have a chargeable capacity of up to 80 percent in just 45 minutes.
