A drunk and coked-up motorist who caused a serious traffic accident on the A12 exit near Maarn last year has been sentenced to seven months in prison and a three-year driving ban. The man drove through a red light at the end of the exit at much too high a speed. He flew over the central divider at the T-junction and collided with two cars that were driving on the lane behind. Two occupants were seriously injured and the damage was enormous. The person who caused the accident got out and fled.
