Drumbo boil-water advisory lifted: Public health

Drumbo boil water advisory lifted Public health

Public health officials have rescinded the recent boil water advisory issued for Drumbo residents.

After recent water samples returned satisfactory results, Southwestern public health’s medical officer of health, Dr. Ninh Tran, lifted the Sunday-issued advisory.

The advisory was initially issued following a water-pressure loss at the water treatment plant in Drumbo.

Public health officials, though, recommend that residents run their taps for five minutes to flush out their pipes.

Any questions about the advisory can be directed to the agency’s environmental health department at 1-800-922-0096.
