    Druid Build: Attribute Points

Which attributes should I focus on? As a druid with the Circle of the Moon, you should primarily skill Wisdom for improving your spells, Constitution for more life, and Dexterity for efficiency in using melee and ranged weapons.

When it comes to the attributes, make sure that you pay attention to even numbers instead of odd numbers, otherwise you will not benefit from improved dice values. You can find more about the attributes in our overview.

    Druid Build: Talents

How does talent work? In Baldur’s Gate 3, at levels 4, 8, and 12, you can choose a talent to add to your build. However, if you don’t like a talent, you can instead put 2 points in your desired attributes again.

What talents do I need? In this case, we advise you to rely on the following talents per level:

  • Level 4: Alert
  • Function: You can no longer be surprised and gain +5 on initiative. However, you can also take a talent of your choice.
  • Level 8: Not a talent, but improving skills
  • Wisdom should be brought to level 18. Remaining points can be invested in skill and constitution.
  • Level 12: No talent, but improving skills
  • Wisdom should now be pushed up to level 20. The talents in this level range are not optimal and with improving your skill you can strengthen yourself without taking any risks.
  • In our overview you will find a ranking of all talents and which are the best for all classes.

    Druid Build: Spells

You should use the following spells as a druid from the Circle of the Moon:

  • Shillelagh spell
  • Infuse your staff or club with the power of nature. This becomes magical and deals 1d8+2 bludgeoning damage

  • thunder surge
  • This spell knocks back all enemies within your melee range. With this you can gain distance or, if necessary, create an opportunity to escape.
  • Heal wounds (take it with you if possible)
  • With Cure Wounds you have a good option to heal yourself
  • healing word
  • With this spell you can heal all colleagues who are within 18 meters of you
  • entangle
  • Entangle allows you to slow or even bind enemies to prevent them from fleeing or attacking
  • As you grow stronger, you can swap out the spells with your choice of magic, depending on what you feel like doing in battle. So feel free to try new magic.
