A Norfolk resident is facing several drug trafficking charges after police stopped a vehicle Simcoe on Thursday.
Officers with the OPP Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit stopped a vehicle on Peel Street at about 12:34 pm
During a search of the vehicle police seized suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, LSD and clonazepam. They also seized Canadian currency and a prohibited weapon.
A 20-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with possession of the drugs for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and two counts of possession of an identity document.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
