Freetown recalled its ambassador to Conakry on Thursday January 16 after the Guinean authorities seized seven suitcases suspected of containing cocaine in a diplomatic vehicle of the Sierra Leonean embassy. An investigation has been opened, but at this stage, no evidence directly implicates the ambassador in this traffic.
