Three people are facing charges after police on Six Nations of the Grand River searched two homes on River Range Road on June 24.
Police said they seized a loaded 9 mm handgun, a loaded homemade prohibited firearm, about $8,000 in fentanyl, currency, ammunition, cellphones and a digital scale at one home, and drug paraphernalia and a replica handgun at the other.
Police said a 27-year-old Ohsweken man and an 18-year-old Toronto man are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, careless use of firearm, weapon and/or ammunition and having proceeds of crime under $5,000. The Ohsweken man is also charged with multiple counts of failing to comply with a release order and breach of probation.
A 30-year-old Ohsweken man is charged with failing to comply with undertaking conditions and breach of probation.
Police said a man was seen jumping from a window of one the homes. He was caught nearby. A second man was arrested inside the home.
