At 22.10 on Monday evening, the alarm came about a drowning incident at Eriksberg in Gothenburg. A large search effort was launched with divers, boat and helicopter. The police have also been on the scene.
At 22.50 a person was found in the water by the rescue service.
– We have had divers in the water who have picked up a person, says Fredrik Östlund, alarm and line operator at the rescue service.
The condition of the person’s injuries is still unclear.
