A 70-year-old drove on the wrong side of the road, collided with a truck and overturned.

A car has collided head-on with a truck when it was driving in the opposite lane along Bergaholmsvägen, road 584 in Södertälje. In the collision, the car overturned and the driver, who is in his 70s, was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
– The truck has tried to honk, blink and slow down to draw attention to the fact that the person is on the wrong side, says Rebecca Landberg, police spokesperson.
The extent of the damage is unclear, but be awake and talkative when leaving.

The police have opened a preliminary investigation into negligence in traffic and drunk driving.
