A man in his 30s is sentenced to four years in prison for, among other things, grossly causing the death of another and gross negligence in traffic, after hitting a man outside Timrå last winter. This is reported by local media.

The man who died was in his 80s and out with his dog when he was run over by the now convicted man.

In total, the man was charged with 16 crimes, and was convicted of all of them. Among other things, on another occasion he came close to running over two police officers outside Sundsvall while under the influence of drugs, which resulted in him being charged with, among other things, attempted serious violence against an official – a crime for which he is now also being sentenced.
