(Finance) – The opening of requests has been announced at 12 today, March 4, And within a few hours the fund of around 5 million euros was exhaustedwith the issuing of 1,950 vouchers. Also for the year 2024, the government has made available a fund that allows Italian or European citizens aged between 18 and 35 to obtain a bonus to obtain the license and professional qualifications necessary to drive vehicles intended for road transport of people and goods.
The financing covers 80% of expenses up to a maximum of 2,500 euros. This means that an approximate figure of 5 million euros has been made available to finance 80% of the costs necessary to obtain the driving document, up to a maximum of 2,500 euros.
The license categories involved include C, D, CE, DE and CQC (Driver Qualification Card), therefore excluding category B for driving motor vehicles.
To submit the application, interested parties had to access the patentiautotrasporto website and use your SPID, CIE or CNS credentials. The bonus can be requested only once and must be activated at a driving school accredited on the platform of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport within 60 days of its issue. The driving license must be obtained within 18 months of granting the bonus. Once the driving school has received the bank transfer from the Ministry, it will reimburse the aspiring driver the expected sum.
