“It was quite emotional when a Ukrainian driver came overloaded,” says Elbers. “He really went into the war zone to Kiev. Then you are faced with the facts for a while. We gave him some money and food, that was really a moment.” Medication, tents and personal care products such as sanitary towels have been transported to Ukraine. “At least we have seen and heard that our things have ended up well.”
