Six Nations Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision on Fifth Line Road that sent a male driver to hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police, fire, and EMS responded at about 10:30 am Saturday, to the scene where a sport utility vehicle was found on its roof north of the roadway.

Investigation determined the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a bend in the road and struck a culvert before rolling over.

The male driver was ejected from the vehicle.
