Six Nations Police happened upon a single-vehicle collision on July 22 and ended up arresting the driver.
A patrol unit was traveling west on Fourth Line Road when they saw a collision had taken place and all the occupants of the vehicle were out safely.
They stopped to speak to those involved and, while speaking to the driver, noticed signs of impairment.
A 20-year-old Ohsweken man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than the legal limit.
He is scheduled to appear in a Brantford court at a later date.
