A total lunar eclipse occurred on the night of Sunday May 15 to Monday May 16, 2022 in Europe, but also from eastern North America, from South America and from Africa. The moon set Monday May 16, 2022 during a partial lunar eclipse behind the Frauenkirche and the Kunstakedmie dome with the angel “Fama” in Dresden, capital of Saxony in Germany.
