Facts: The hurdle’s qualifying conditions

Eliminated in CL qualifying round 2: Moved to Europa League qualification. In the event of a loss in the EL qualifier, there will be a playoff to the Europa Conference League. In the event of victory in the EL qualifying round, a playoff for the EL group stage awaits. In the event of a loss at that stage, Häcken is ready for the ECL group stage – in the event of a win for the EL group stage.
Eliminated in CL qualifying round 3: Playoff to EL group stage. Lose there and ECL group stage is assured – with victory clear for EL group stage.
Loss in CL playoff: Clear for EL group stage.
The reigning Hungarian league champion Ferencváros, who last season was knocked out by Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the Europa League, was a huge favorite before the double meeting against Klaksvík.
After 0-0 away in the Faroe Islands, Ferencváros had the chance to decide at home in Budapest. That was not the case. Instead, the away team, with Swedish Jonatan Johansson in goal, went into the break with a 3–0 lead.
The Faroese club did not let it go. Thus, the final result was 3–0 both in the match and overall.
In Klaksvík, the 32-year-old Swedish goalkeeper Jonatan Johansson is found, as done comeback and left his job as an electrician in Oslo. The Swede has belonged to the club for about a month and is the first goalkeeper.
Häcken defeated Welsh side The New Saints 5–1, over two legs, in the first qualifying round. The second qualifying round will be played on July 25 or 26. The hurdle starts on the away field. The second leg will then be played in Gothenburg on August 2.
