In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), it was, yesterday Thursday, September 6, the third day of the trial of six soldiers of the Republican Guard (GR), including two senior officers. They are prosecuted for crimes against humanity by murder, destruction of weapons, and incitement of soldiers to commit acts contrary to duty or discipline. This was after the repression of a demonstration which killed around fifty people in Goma on August 30. The trial which is being held at the military court of Goma, sitting at the Katindo camp, was devoted yesterday to the form of the procedure.
