In the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, new fighting was recorded on Wednesday in the territory of Masisi between local armed groups allied with the Congolese army and the M23 rebels supported by Rwanda. These violent clashes caused several victims in Lukofu, about sixty km west of the city of Goma.
