DRC: land problems at the origin of clashes in the province of Tshopo

In the DRC, interethnic clashes took place earlier this week in the commune of Lubunga in the province of Tshopo in the northeast of the country. A land problem is said to be the cause of the clashes which left three people dead and significant material damage, according to testimonies collected on the spot.
