Humanitarians highlight needs of populations after truce breakdown

In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and while there is no major progress in the discussions between Kinshasa and Kigali, in Angola – the last round of discussions took place from 20 to 22 August 2024 between Rwandan and Congolese delegations concerning the conflict in eastern DRC – the Congolese opposition is calling on the government and President Félix Tshisekedi to end the Luanda process initiated by the African Union.
