A week after the assassination of opposition deputy Chérubin Okende, the justice communicated, Wednesday, July 19, the first elements of the open investigation. Firmin Mvonde, the Attorney General at the Court of Cassation, announced at a press conference the arrest of several people in addition to Chérubin Okende’s bodyguard and his driver. The investigations are however incomplete while waiting for international investigators, in particular for the autopsy.
