Vaccines against MPOX, also known as monkeypox, will arrive in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the coming days, with more expected to follow, the World Health Organization announced on Friday, August 30. According to the WHO, about 230,000 doses of vaccines produced by Danish pharmaceutical company Bavarian Nordic would be immediately available to be sent to affected regions.
