Just two weeks before the date set for the elections, growing concerns are being expressed about the effective capacity to organize them in accordance with the constitutional timetable, i.e. December 20, 2023. Several opposition parties, as well as certain chancelleries, emphasize the multiple challenges to be overcome: logistics, security and transport, all of which are of crucial importance. Despite this, the Independent National Electoral Commission (Céni) wants to be reassuring about its preparations.
