DRC considers action against Apple

The Congolese state plans to sue Apple in France and the United States for the alleged use of minerals illegally mined in the DRC. This action follows a formal notice sent in April, after accusations against Apple of purchasing contraband minerals from eastern Congo via Rwanda. DRC lawyers, currently visiting Kinshasa, are also considering actions against other international targets.
