DRC authorizes resumption of schools in M23 controlled areas unions call

In the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the authorities of North Kivu have authorized the return to school, which should take place on Monday, September 2. A first in this region which for more than two years has not had school activities in the areas under the control of the M23 rebels. But the Synergy of Teachers’ Unions of the Kongo-Central Province is calling for a boycott of this return to school tomorrow.
