Netflix’s Dragon Age series shows brutal fantasy world with elves and magic
The game adaptation is about the elf mercenary Miriam (Kimberly Brooks), who dies after an ambush on the most powerful man in Tevinter fight for survival got to. Other key characters in Dragon Age: Absolution include former freedom fighter Fairbanks (Matt Mercer), Qunari mage Qwydion (Ashly Burch), knight Roland (Phil Lamar), and dwarf master Lacklon (Keston John).
Netflix’s Dragon Age series is set in the Tevinter empire of the gaming world Thedas, where slavery is still legal and mages practicing blood magic reign supreme. In the rest of the world blood magic is frowned upon and Mages are overseen by Templars. This makes it all the more exciting that the protagonist of the Netflix series is an elf.
Since the upcoming fourth part of the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf game series is also set in Tevinter, the series could already anticipate plot points of the next game. Dragon Age: Absolution is a fantasy animation series coming to Netflix from December 9th in subscription. There will be a total of 6 episodes of around 30 minutes each.
