Hospitals in the north of the Palestinian enclave are in the heart of combat zones and 20 of the 36 in Gaza are out of service, according to the UN. To discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza but also the future of this territory and the Palestinian national struggle, RFI met Doctor Mustapha Barghouti. A member of the board of directors of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, an NGO working in the health sector in the West Bank and Gaza, he is also the founder of the Palestinian National Initiative party and a former presidential candidate.
