Dozens of shooting stars visible through passing meteor shower

Perseid shower can be seen every year at the end of the summer. The Perseids are named after the constellation Perseus, from which the shooting stars seem to come. The shooting stars actually come from the comet Swift-Tuttle. That comet leaves behind a cloud of dust particles that we see as ‘shooting stars’.
