More than a hundred high school students were victims of these messages. A student’s school account was hacked, allowing a hacker to make these threats and distribute them to many students. In the email, the author says he is acting on behalf of the Islamic State group and announces an attack this Thursday, March 21 in several establishments. In addition to these threats, a beheading video was sent to the targeted high school students.

The establishments concerned have put in place psychological support for all children or adults who have unwillingly watched this video.

Investigators went to certain high schools on Wednesday evening to ensure their safety. The perpetrator is wanted by the police; if he is unmasked, he risks prosecution. But for now, investigators are heading toward the trail of a hoax.

This is not the first time that this type of message has come through the ENT. In recent months, bomb threats have increased in middle and high schools. Between September and November 2023, National Education counted nearly 800.
