Rhenen – No fewer than 37 people have applied for the position of mayor of Rhenen. The province of Utrecht announced this. Rhenen’s chain of office is therefore coveted, and that is certainly not the case in all municipalities. While the application procedure in Rhenen is entering a follow-up phase, it was stopped in Bunschoten-Spakenburg because no suitable candidates responded.
