Dozens of people have died in clashes between football fans in West African Guinea, hospital sources tell the news agency AFP.
One doctor, who spoke anonymously, told of at least a hundred deaths in the local hospital and morgue. Another doctor reported dozens of dead.
The football match and the ensuing clashes took place on Sunday in the town of Nzérékoré in the south-east of the country.
The violence broke out at the end of the tournament final after a controversial decision by the match referee. In the match, teams from the cities of Nzérékoré and Labé played against each other.
