The Workshop, Downsizing 101: Wher to Begin?, Will Take Place March 6 from 6:30 To 8:30 PM AT ST. ANDREW’s Residence, at 99 Park St.
Hosted by the Residence, the Event Will Feature Insights from Kelly-Anne Appleton and Dane Appleton, Realtors with Royal Lepage Peifer Realty, and Sue Hawkins, Professional Organizer with Clutter Busters, and St. Andrew’s Staff.
“The senior population is the Fast-Growing Age Group in the country, Making Downsizing-Moving to Smaller Home, Apartment, Or withdrawal Residence-An Importer and Often Overwhelming Topic,” Organizers State in a media release.
“With so much to consider, from listing and selling a home to decluttering, purging, packing, and finding the perfect smaller space, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Add in the Physical and Emotional Toll of Moving, Along with the Challenge of Designing and Decorating A New Home, The Process Can Quickly Feel Daunting.
The Workshop Will Guide Wait through the Essential Steps to Consider Before Making A Move.
Facilitators Will Provide Information On How To Prepare for Downsizing, What to Expect During The Process, and Housing Options at St. Andrew’s Residence and St. Andrew’s Terrace. Tours also will be available.
