The developers of Final Fantasy XIV have released the complete patch notes for patch 7.0. You can find the German details for Dawntrail on the official Lodestone of Square Enix.

Many Eorzea fans play Final Fantasy XIV because of the often exciting story. Dawntrail is the start of a completely new story arc and many old hands online are already warning about spoilers due to data mining (via @EENIX on X).

The download is already running. Otherwise, we’ll take it easy and take a look at Los Angeles – are you excited about Tural yet?
What you need to know: Since June 26, 2024 at 11 a.m., the worlds of Final Fantasy XIV have been offline to prepare for the launch of the upcoming expansion. On the official Lodestone of Final Fantasy XIV, the developers had already announced a few days ago how long the maintenance work for the upcoming expansion Dawntrail will last:
Download available, that’s how big the patch is
You can now start the Final Fantasy XIV launcher to download the patch that brings the Dawntrail content. On the PC, this is more than 57 GB. If you have a slow connection, you should start the download as soon as possible.
Please note that Square Enix expects an “increased number of concurrent logins” during Dawntrail’s early access and official launch. If the number of Eorzea heroes logging in is too high, queues, restrictions, and error messages will occur. You can find out more about the measures taken to ensure a smooth launch here.
