Partly because the financial trees at DOVO have not grown to the sky for a long time, realizing these ambitions will largely have to come from our own training. “We don’t have to, but we want that,” says Spelbos, who also wants to continue playing at least the third division with DOVO. “With too many of our own youth, you might play lower and we don’t want that. We want to play as high as possible with as many of our own youth as possible.”
