The woman from Zeist is standing at the counter of the Zeister town hall, where the Holocaust was commemorated by hundreds of people this afternoon. “Just look at those photos there,” she says as her fingers point to a screen showing photos of Zeist residents who were killed during the Second World War. “It’s terrible.”
