Dont spend a lot of money to find a solution

Hair oiling is not an unsolved issue. Hair oiliness, which becomes annoying for women with long hair in the winter months, may mean that you have a skin problem. There can be more than one reason for oily hair. That’s why you need to know your hair and apply solutions accordingly.

WHY DOES HAIR GET OILY?

Oily hair is actually the lubrication of the scalp rather than the lubrication of the strands of the hair. Oiling starts from the roots of the hair. Oiliness is most common on straight hair. Because the oil reaches the hair strands more easily.

You can think of it as plain logic; greasy food equals greasy hair. Oily foods also affect hair oiliness. Touching the hair frequently and combing it constantly causes you to distribute the oil on the scalp to the hair.

Washing hair with very hot water also accelerates oiling. It should be washed with warm or cold water as much as possible. Shampoo, cream and care products should be chosen according to the needs of the hair.

HOW TO PREVENT OILY HAIR?

First of all, change your eating habits and take care to consume healthy foods. When the hair is dry, the scalp produces more oil to moisturize the hair. For this reason, do not use hair stylers that cause the skin to heat up.

WATER TEMPERATURE IS VERY IMPORTANT

Avoid using extremely hot water while showering, as it dries out the scalp too much. Wash your hair with lukewarm water instead of hot water.

If your hair is very oily and you are very uncomfortable with this situation, first stop using market shampoos. Make sure to use herbal shampoo suitable for your hair. When choosing your shampoo and conditioner, make sure they are made specifically for oily hair.

Be careful not to play with your hair during the day, as touching the hair accelerates lubrication. Combing hair accelerates the oil from the skin to reach the hair. Therefore, do not comb your hair often. Be careful not to apply the conditioner on the roots. If your hair is greasy during the day, you can provide instant solutions with dry shampoo.

You can try herbal solutions that you can apply for your hair.

APPLE VINEGAR METHOD

Acetic acid, which is found in vinegar and gives vinegar both its sharp taste and smell, plays an important role in maintaining the pH balance in the scalp. Just like a tonic applied to the hair, when you mix it with water and apply it to your hair, you can have softer and shiny hair that stays greasy for longer periods of time. Although apple cider vinegar is recommended in general, you can do the same with grape cider vinegar if you wish.

LAVENDER METHOD

Take dried lavender leaves, which you can easily obtain from herbalists, put a pinch in about 2-3 glasses of water and boil for 10 minutes. Wait for your water to cool. When you are close to the cold, apply it to your dry hair from root to tip and leave it for 30 minutes. Then wash your hair as usual and rinse well. You can apply this application once a week until you see that the problem of lubrication decreases.

CARBONATE METHOD

Just like vinegar, baking soda, which has made a name for itself in many cleaning processes, is also an expert in removing oil from the hair. To use baking soda, which regulates the pH balance of the scalp, add about 1 tea glass of baking soda to 3 glasses of water. Mix well and transfer this mixture to a spray bottle, apply it to your hair wetted with clean water from root to tip and leave for 5 minutes. Then complete your usual hair washing procedures thoroughly.
