Despite a loyal fan base and black numbers for US broadcaster CBS, the crime thriller is supposed to be a hit Blue Bloods – Crime Scene New York come to an end after 14 seasons. They have already announced on several occasions in the past that the series stars around Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg are no more behind this decision than the fans of the successful format. Now the Danny Raegan actor is shooting again against the Blue Bloods cancellation.
Donnie Wahlberg continues to mourn the untimely end of Blue Bloods
The actor was a guest on The Drew Berrymore Show (via Deadline) with his Blue Bloods colleague Bridget Moynahan, where the host asked about her feelings about the end of the series. Donnie Wahlberg explained that he would continue “angry and sad” about the discontinuation of the format.

Bridget Moynahan continued to explain that she made the decision primarily because of the people behind the series, with whom she has developed a close bond over 14 years:
I think it’s more about getting away from it People behind the series characters to adopt. We created such a family on set with each other and with the crew – most of the crew members have worked with us for 14 years, so we’ve seen a lot of weddings, births, deaths and everything. We’ve been through it all together.When is the final 14th season of Blue Bloods airing?
The final season of Blue Bloods will consist of 18 episodes and will be divided into two parts. The first part is already in February 2024 started in the USA on CBS and consists of 10 episodes. The final 8 episodes are scheduled to follow in the fall.
It is not yet known when the 14th season will be shown in this country. The previous 13 seasons of the crime hit can currently be seen on WOW with a streaming subscription.
