The general nurses have increased their median salary by almost SEK 3,000, while the largest increase goes to the midwives by more than SEK 6,500 on average.
– It feels good, but I am also a realist, all regions have had a wage review and others have also made wage investments, but we do not know until a bit into 2023 what it looks like in comparison with other regions, says Ewa Strömsten, HR director for Region Västernorrland.
