Slovenia and its star player Luka Doncic will not participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after their elimination in the semi-finals of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Greece (96-68), Saturday in Piraeus. Luka Doncic, who played and lost his first NBA finals this season with the Dallas Mavericks against Boston, is for the moment the main absentee from the Olympic basketball tournament which will begin on July 27. Antetokounmpo’s Greeks must still validate their ticket for the Olympic Games in the OQT final on Sunday evening, against Croatia or the Dominican Republic.
