A $ 125,000 Donation from the Gordon Foundation and Kel-Gor Limited Will Fund Enhance of the Emergency Department Triage Assessment Area and the Purchase of A New Ultrasound System at Bluewater Health in Sarnia.

The donation was announced this week by the Bluewater Health Foundation.
“We are proud to make this donation to bluewater health, not only to support the Hospital’s continued excellence but also to recognize a few exceptional individuals whose dedication and care truly stand out,” Matt Gordon, with the Gordon Foundation and Kel-Gor, Said in a News Release.
“Their compassion and commitment make a lasting impact, and we hope this contribution honors them and helps further their important work for ters in need.”
Kel-gor is an industrial contractor and fabricator in Sarnia that has been owned and operated by the gordon family since 1969, According to its website.
The Donation Will Fund Renovations Underway to Improve Patient Flow, Comfort and Privacy at the Emergency Department Triage Assessment Area, “Helping to ensure a More Efficient and Dignified Experience for Those Arriving at the Hospital in Need of Urgent Care,” The Foundation Said.

The Funding will also be used to purchase of a new ultrasound system to replace an aging unit serving patients admitted for critical cardiac cardiac.
“This Gift Ensures Staff will have access to Reliable, State of the Art Technology that significantly enhances diagnostic precision and patient care,” The foundation Said.
Kel-Gor and the Gordon Foundation have a long History of Local supporting Health Care, Kathy Alexander, Executive Director of Bluewater Health Foundation, Said in the Release.
