Donald Trumps social media platform Truth Social is available to

Due to the events that took place after the announcement of the result of the presidential elections in the USA, social media giants, including Twitter and Facebook, imposed bans on former US President Donald Trump. After this event, Trump rolled up his sleeves and founded his own social media platform, Truth Social. Trump’s new social media application offered to users can be downloaded from the Apple online store.

THEY HAVE BANNED TRUMP

After the announcement of the results of the US presidential elections in January 2021, after Trump’s supporters occupied the US Congress building and Trump made provocative statements on social media, major social media companies such as Twitter and Facebook banned Trump from using their own platforms.

ESTABLISHED SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM

Upon this, Trump announced that he would establish his own social media platform, Truth Social. Trump’s new social media app will be available for download from the Apple online store.

Some users who tried to download the application last night stated that they had problems opening a new user account or that they encountered a message such as “Due to high demand, we have put you on our waiting list”.

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), led by former US Republican Representative Devin Nunes, created the Truth Social application.

The company positions itself among technology companies that promote freedom of expression and hopes to attract users who believe their views are being suppressed by more established platforms.

But so far, Twitter’s rival new social media platforms Gettr, Parler, and video site Rumble haven’t been able to catch up with the popularity of their mainstream rivals.
