US President Donald Trump withdraws temporary residence permits for over half a million people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, reports BBC.

The migrants are invited to leave the country before April 24. The total of 530,000 people came to the United States legally when Joe Biden sat in power. They were part of a program which meant that residents from the four Caribbean nations were granted temporary residence permits in the United States.

Trump tore up the program when he took over as president.
