Donald Trump: The indictments benefit my election campaign

After again denying the crimes he is accused of, he directs a big boot at Joe Biden – and “everyone who goes after him”.
Three charges have been brought against the ex-president. A scam, according to himself.
– They are trying to say that it is illegal to question the results of a bad election, said Donald Trump during a speech.

The many accusations and charges have benefited Donald Trump’s election campaign for the presidential election in 2024. He expressed this during a speech to Republicans in Alabama, calling the charges a “great badge of honor”, reports Sky News.

He claims all the allegations against him are false and accuses Joe Biden’s administration of trying to destroy his campaign.

– We will have to win some battles. Our country is going to hell, he said during the speech.

“Most corrupt president in US history”

He also believes that there is no point in debating against his Republican competitors. “Nobody has a chance,” believes the former president.

– I love debating. But you know, sometimes you don’t want to be stupid. You want a smart president, you don’t want a stupid president.

Trump added that he promises to remove “thugs and criminals from the corridors of power” if re-elected president.

He also directed strong criticism at Joe Biden’s presidency, calling him “the most incompetent and most corrupt president in the history of the United States”.

Want to see action taken after criticized post

The speech came a day after he pleaded not guilty to charges related to his mishandling of classified documents. Something he called a “very sad day for the United States”.

In connection with that, he published a post on his own platform “Truth Social”. Where he promises revenge on all who are against him.

“If you give up on me, I’ll give up on you!” reads the post in capitals.

Now prosecutors have requested that a federal judge issue a so-called protective order against Trump. Such an order would limit what information he and his legal team will be allowed to share publicly about the ongoing legal case, writes TT.

Protective orders are common in the United States regarding criminal cases. But prosecutors stress that it is “particularly important in this case,” because Trump has posted about “witnesses, judges, prosecutors and other people involved in legal matters against him.”

He has also been charged with trying to have the 2020 presidential election results annulled.

Donald Trump is the first American president to be charged with a crime, writes Sky News.

Trump has denied all criminal charges.
