Former US President Donald Trump says he has been notified by special prosecutor Jack Smith that he is a target in the criminal investigation surrounding the events of January 6, 2021, US media write.
On January 6, 2021, the Capitol in Washington was stormed by Trump supporters.
According to Trump, he has four days to report to the grand jury – “something that almost always means an arrest and indictment,” writes the former president. He also goes on a hard attack against Jack Smith and calls him “deranged”.
The prosecutor has previously accused Trump of several crimes related to classified documents.
