Participation at 2:00 p.m.
35.53% of the residents of Don Benito and 42.75% of those of Villanueva de la Serena, Badajoz, have already exercised their right to vote until 2:00 p.m. in the popular consultation that takes place this Sunday to decide if they support the merger project of both municipalities.
About 30,170 citizens of Don Benito and about 21,370 of Villanueva de la Serena make up the joint censusof which just over 8,000 have already participated in the early voting process that took place from January 29 to February 10.
The 37 polling stations and 60 polling stations will be open until 8:00 p.m. and it is estimated that from 22:00 the first results will be known.
