During today’s operation, one completely refreshed dial will be installed on each side of the Dom Tower. The start is at the Servet and Zadelstraat side (towards Utrecht Central Station) and at the side of the tourist office building (towards Janskerkhof). Utrecht residents who live near Wed, Wittevrouwen or Oudwijk will therefore have to be patient for a while. When the first two dials are hanging, the crane is moved to the Academy Building and the remaining two go on top. It is hoped that the job will be completed in one day, but it may extend into tomorrow.
