65-year-old Lundgren was diagnosed in 2015 and declared healthy after a period of treatment. In 2020, however, the cancer returned, this time in several organs at the same time.
Six tumors were surgically removed and Lundgren went to Alabama to shoot a new film.
— Then the doctor called and said they found another one in the liver, and then I thought: “Damn, this is serious”, he says in the program “In depth with Graham Bensinger”.
He was initially told he had two to three years to live. However, after he went to a new doctor and received treatment, things look much brighter. The tumor has shrunk by 90 percent. Lundgren hopes that it will be possible to operate on what remains.
