“We made zero mistakes, did not incur any penalties and always chose the right tires,” says the young driver. “That was the key for this race, to always choose the right tires when it rained or when it dried out.” According to Schuring, the team is very good at that. “And the drivers were very keen on it. We rode a flawless race, which is quite difficult in a 24-hour race. But it really is true.”
